I wonder if someone could help me out. I am getting an error on the below script simple script that should copy from server to workstation when ran as SYSTEM account or via an elevated command prompt. The problem I have is that it fails on the robocopy. The error it outputs is with regards to the destination being an invalid location. I suspect it may have something to do with the quotes but I am stumped. The code is below, if anyone can help it would be appreciated.

robocopy \\sccm\packages$\SilentInstalls\Loreus\ "C:\Program Files\" /MIR
xcopy "\\sccm\packages$\SilentInstalls\Loreus\Loreus Review\Loreus Review.lnk" "C:\Users\Public\Desktop" /K /Y /Z
xcopy "\\sccm\packages$\SilentInstalls\Loreus\Loreus Significance Calculator\Loreus Significance Calculator.lnk" "C:\Users\Public\Desktop" /K /Y /Z

I have also tried to do it with xcopy and got an invalid path message.

yeah i am copying from a network share \\sccm\packages$\... and the destination is C:\Users\Public\Desktop

As i understand it in /MIR switch is set to mirror the destination with the source?

That would be correct and probably why it is not working. You DO NOT want to Mirror Program Files because it will try to delete the files in Program Files that are not in the source. Try it without the MIR switch.
