Hi,

I have 5 years of experience in Desktop Support and basic lan troubleshooting (no routers, or configurable switches, no server windows or linux).

Now, I want to get into something where I can grow.

Should I go into networking or software development and how should I make a move.

Next year, I would be in canada, so please suggest accordingly. Is that true, that most of programming jobs are out sourced. some people also say that in networking openings are very less and hard to find.

So, I will be considered as fresher in networking or software development. Please suggest as to how should I upgrade myself.
