ok i want to start programming learning i have noooo concept of building programs..etc....i just know a most of html...thats probably all the "coding" knowledge i have....where should i start Visual Basic 6 or .NET ?? i plan on becomming a programmer....

Since you have some knowledge of HTML, you should give Javascript a try. You don't need to download any fancy crap to get started, all you need is your browser. Check out http://www.javascript.com for some tutorials. http://www.htmlgoodies.com also has some decent tutorials for Javascripting and of course, google is a good place to look too.

To get you started, insert this into an HTML document:

window.alert("This is a Javascript example!");
document.writeln("<h1><u>Hello World</u></h1>" );
</script>
