Any suggestions of where to start learning to code? I can pretty much figure out any hardware issues with general research online. My purpose is to become familiar with software and their algorithms. I have seen so far there are plenty of languages. SQL, C++, Java, Syntax, Python, Scratch, Alice, etc. I do learn fast, but hands on is faster. I would like to create programs, games, apps, webpages, or whatever. Please be kind, I am a super novice, but I have critical skills and logic. The books I look up on amazon for beginners have terrible reviews. So that takes me back to square one. Thanks in advanced for any suggestion.

I don't need to be right, but I am never wrong.

Python was designed to be a starter language. Towards that end, the book based on seems to be highly ranked.
