I am developing a smartphone application based on Windows CE 6.0. I am using VB.Net 2005 with Visual Inheritance. I ran into a problem when displaying the form designer for the inherited forms. The forms are grayed out with this message "Visual inheritance is currently disabled because the base class references a device-specific component or contains P/Invoke". I have tried adding a .xmta file, even redefining the base class new method to skip the initialization code when on designer but nothing gives. Anybody with an idea how to get around this?
You can argue, fight and quarrel all you want, but at the end of the day you will have a headache
