I'm trying to make a basic Remote desktop connection program. So far the Server is working ok. When the server is started on the server computer it takes pictures of the whole desktop and stores it in C:\Program Files\VertrigoServ\www\remote.bmp I'm using a timer to save it and I have the interval set to 1. The server works really good. Its the client that is giving me problems. I need the client to load the picture from http://phantomworksstudio.serveblog... I'm also hosting my website on my own computer and not a webhost Again I'm using a timer to load it and the timer's interval for this one is also set to 1. Now when I run the program and click connect I get a file/denied error or something close to that. So I looked on the net and I found some code that allows you to load a picture from a URL I tried it but it loads slowly and it only loads once while the program is running it won't load it again. I can't use Winsock because my mom blocked all ports besides port 80 which is enabled by default. Does anyone have any ideals how to accomplish this or another way of doing it? Thanks everyone
