Visual Basic 6 Send keys help

Well I just found out that Vista has blocked the sendkeys function in Vista. Is there another function that I can use or something that is alternative to the sendkeys? Thanks and now that I know this I'm quite sure that vista most likely blocked some other functions too.

VB.NET SendKeys still works in Vista and Win7 (UAC or not). It might be time to move to a different language, or newer version.
