Hey guys,
I am making a script that checkes for older versions of files and then loades correct software for version detected. So say My adobe is version 8.1.1 and I want to upgrate to 8.1.2. How can I get it to do this?

Many executable files are compiled with version information these days, so maybe you could use a program like SigCheck.

How can I use this program to help me check for versions. Can you give an example? I am still learning this and dont know where to start lol..

Razor,

Thank you for your help with this. I would like a little assistance as opposed to your method of leaving me in the dark. I will continue to read up on the program that you suggested but I learn best through examples. Would anyone else like to comment or give any other ideas? Only constructive thoughts are welcome, so please don’t tell me to go read, if that were the case, I wouldn’t need to post on this forum or ask for help.
