Comment:

i tried to make a cristal report using the folloing code.

DsRptToBr.Clear()
OleDbDARptToBr.Fill(DsRptToBr)
crr.SetDataSource(DsRptToBr)
CRViewerToBranch.ReportSource = crr

in the dataset DsRptToBr i use,
FROM main WHERE (c_from_br_date IS NULL) AND (RTRIM(b_claim_no) <> '*')

but, while i run the report, it shows all the records in the table, without caring my WHERE condition.

Also i used Selectcommand,
OleDbDAChkIntimation.SelectCommand.Parameters("b_claim_no").Value = "*"
but the result is same.
Please help me on this case.

Thank you.

Why is OleDbDARptToBr.Fill(DsRptToBr) so high up in your code? It looks like you're pulling the data before you're even done with the setup.
