hi
i hav installed vb6 on windows 2000 Advanced server, but when i tried to open any existing projects, it gernerates an error "comdlg32.ocx could not be loaded", and in some projects after continuing after this error it displays error for other files that colud not be loaded while opening the project. comdlg32.ocx file is present on the system and also i had downloaded new comdlg32.ocx file but the problem is the same, how can this error be cured or vb6 doesnt work well with windows 2000 server

Don't quote me but I believe this requires replacement of the OCX from the server CD.

you could also try downloading the new runtime files from Microsoft

runtime files will install new versions of DLL and OCX files

comdlg32.ocx is one of those files that comes with it

if that dosn't work, you will have to reinstalled VB6 on your pc.
