Please help. Help files for VB6/apps give detailed instructions on how to connect to a database. But, the data types (workspace, tabledef, etc.) aren't recognized and I get prompted by the compiler that the user type is not defined.

Am I missing a part of VB that allows this connectivity, am I just an idiot, or do I need to define my own data types to access databases?

I Appreciate any help you can give.

Thanks
Al
