Reply: (edit)phyre, Don't have the time to write you an algorithm, but you can find the info for the SWF header here: http://www.the-labs.com/MacromediaFlash/SWF-Spec/SWFfileformat.html Just open the file as a stream and read in the data. Once you get past the useless stuff (about 5-6 bytes), you'll get a RECT structure that is the width and height. Hope this helps you out...good luck on your project! Stephen
