I'm trying to make a backup program and with one of the text box's the code I'm trying to use it textbox1.text = textbox1.text + datetime.value

When I use that and try to run it VB 2008 Won't respond or I don't see the program that I made at all and I can click on the stop button in vb to go back to designing and all of that.

I also can't use & nether because it does the same thing?.

I'm also having other problems with VB 08

When I make a program on my computer and compile it it works on my computer and I have vista by they way, but if I try it on my moms computer which also has vista or on my friends computer you get the vista program don't start or crash error and you get the box where it says this program has encounter an error and bla bla bla this programs needs to be closed.

Has VB 2008 gone mad!

Why is it doing this to me.

I swear if this keeps up I will stop coding and work on something else because not only is VB giving me problems I also can't get something to work right on PHP. Why is this happening to me??????

I'm about to take my keyboard and throw it at my wall hopefully it will break it

First, get some anger managment.
Second, explain what these programs are supposed to do, maybe it is simply that your moms computer has different settings/directories.

I only Batch if possible, 2000 more lines of code, oh well.

Right now I'm sick. I been sick for the past 4-5 days and is not getting any better. If I was not sick I wouldn't be this mad. My moms computer settings are the same. I just don't under stand why programs made in VB on my PC won't work in anyone else PC.

Also one of the programs is suppose to be a program that backs up files and another one is suppose to be a website developer.

Also sorry about my last post. Its just I've been sick and is not getting any better AND I've missing school.

This is my last year and I don't plan on failing it and other stuff that's going on in my life that's personal is not helping also.

First, don't forget to copy the entire code, as well as the error message.

Second, I'm sorry for the blunt way I went about pointing out the tension in your message.

I only Batch if possible, 2000 more lines of code, oh well.
