Specs: Windows 7, 3.6GHz 16GB
I am creating an installer for a mod. How would I make a batch script that can locate the install folder for the game? For example "C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\gameThing"

If infinity is infinite, is the square root of infinity infinite as well?

The "best" way is probably to use WMI to query the installed programs via Win32_Product, but this makes a few assumptions about the install that may not be true. (Namely that it goes through the Windows install process, and it records where it was installed.) Batch does not have a good, foolproof way of doing so. If you're making an installer, you might as well do it right, and use a real installer. I'd suggest NSIS, but there are many .msi builder programs out there.
