Comment:

Have an app, written in VB, that sits in a shared path on our server. The user has a link on their desktop to invoke it. Question is: How do I get the name of the server (that hosts the share/path) that the app was invoked FROM?

Ex: a.exe is in a shared folder,
shared_folder on the server(THIS_SRVR)
The user runs a.exe through a link.
How in a.exe, get ahold of THIS_SRVR's
name?

Help greatly appreciated,

Joe
