Iam facing a similar problem with the USB Audio Device of Logitech Web Cam.The code works properly on Mike connected to Sound Card but when i open the mixer such as

err=mixerOpen(&hMixer, 1, 0, 0, 0);// 1 is identified as USB Microphone(Inbuilt to Logitech Web Cam)

i see no error.but when i use

result = mixerGetLineInfo((HMIXEROBJ) hMixer, &ml, MIXER_OBJECTF_HMIXER);

fail to get the Line Information.

it would be great if any one can give me solution for this issue...............

What result do you get from mixerGetLineInfo?

I don't have a USB-biased sound device, so I'm SOL here. I guess it's possible that the cam doesn't use a standard mixer, however a Google search did turn up some code (albeit not in C++), so see if that doesn't help.

I have looked into Google Site but no 1 has written specific to a Opening a Mixer Device connected to USB.

So Still waiting for some 1ns Help. with my issue.........
