tskkill works from Windows Run but not from batch file win

I am trying to display JPS files one at a time using a Windows XP batch file. In other words, after I display one JPG file from a baatch file, I use the "tskill pictureviewer" command to close the picture window before I display another one. I find that this line fails to work from my batch file. However, when I put "tskill pictureviewer" in the Run command-line box, the picture screen disappears as it should. julianloui. vb
