I want to create a touch screen poker computer game (with 8 touch screens around a table and 1 big monitor (not touch screen) in the center of the table as the dealer.. (i want to make it not buy it)
my first step will be to create the poker game just on a computer monitor that uses the mouse where i would assume the touch screen buttons will be...
I know the touch screen acts like a mouse. but my problem is going to be getting the pictures on the differnet touch screen..
can anyway offer any reading material for me involving programming and touch screen.
Thanks.

It appears that you have 8 touch screens and a monitor.
9 computers networked? I see difficulty of 9 monitors on 1 cpu.
Make the main computer like a chat or game server. Each
individual computer handles 1 hand. Main deals and
sends/receives data to/from each user.
Even if you do your own, touch screens are pricey.
8 POS terminals would be great

I was working on a price of 8" TFT LCD $300 each and $800 for larger LCD
About 3800 roughly. With allowances upto 6000$
I want a cheaper version of this:

Perhapes that looks like acheaper model. It doesnt use touch screen but custom made buttons.I have no idea how i would go about making the buttons.

I think the $6000 is doable. My choice is POS stations and an
LCD tv for main display. POS cost $1200 new. But you prob find a
restaurant going out of business and get them $3-500 each. I
don't know the price of regular touch screens computers but HP
has them for about $1100. You could them out of the box. Just
add software.

as it turns out custom mades buttons arent going to be too much of a problem.. I can scrafice a keyboard and connect them to some buttons so i can use buttons instead of the touch screen. (each button will = a key stroke, so that'll be easy to program)
Ive decided to use buttons and little 7" LCD montiors.. The 7" LCD monitor will only have ur hand (which will display hwen u press a button)...
Ive found some videocards that display upto 4 monitors and the webpage says it can display upto 10+ montiors.. so i think ill make a pc. Install 3 of these video cards. and have 10 x 7" LCD montiors aroudn the table, with the middle LCD being a 21" wide screen one. Then have buttons around the little LCD's..
My problem now (before i start the programming.. Ive never programmed with multiple montiors before but i think i can manage that)...
is hwere do i find 7" LCD's? Everywhere i look the LCDs are used for something.. like a tv or whatnot.. I just wnat a plain old little lcd monitor that can plug into a VGA slot.

To display on multiple screens you have do some form of context
switching each screen has its own port and screen buffer. If you
use a single keyboard you have to map which keys go to which
screen. TV quality LCD screens are cheap. Getting a VGA
converter is the problem. Make sure the VGA outputs at the
proper screen resolution.
