I hope I'm in the right section for this ...

Regarding http://computing.net/howto/simple/s...

Every time I try to run this, it comes up with the error:

Error in shell 32
Missing entry: SHExitWindowsEx

This is the code I entered into the command line space:
C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL32.exe shell32,SHExitWindowsEx 1

But it doesn't work. :/

What do I do?

Life is but a dream ...

That trick only works in Win98 and WinME. For XP, you can use the command:
shutdown -s -t 0
