Are you going to do this once or is this
a form that you will be filling in many
times?

Are you going to stick the form in the
printer or is the printer going to print the
form?

Word Or Any Word Processor is A lousy way
to fill in a form. Unless the forms spacing
is perfect, you will have to find the right
font and adjust the row and column position
to match the lines and I presume the boxes.

If you are doing many forms.
There is software that will scan the form and
use it as a background that you fill over or
If it is a form like billing form allow you
to use a database to fill the form. Some
programs will even simultaneously print the
form for you. Depends upon your requirements

If you only have one form I would scan the
form and use a program like Corel Draw or
PhotoShop and place the form in one layer
and you fill in another. Then you suppress
or hide the form and just print the fill in.
This way you can drag you fill in to align.

Try dragging a single letter in a word
processor.

There is a third way, a non Windows way,
on a addressable printer, send the command
strings, and the text for each item. Used
this method for daisywheel printers, dot-
matrix printers, and lasers with printer
languages for medical forms.

Dave,

There is a product out there called Omniform. Version 4 would suit you, but I believe they are up to version 5.

It depends on how important this is to you, as it is quite expensive. (You may find that you can get a perfectly servicable older version at a much reduced price if this is important)

Hope thats of use

Tom
