hi,
i have made a batch file which copies some files into another server and makes a zip file on destination server. The problem is i need to make a zip file on the basis of foldername or else on the name of file. like
i am having a file and folder names as
folder name:- monday_log_08172008_4
file name:- monday_log_08172008_4.logi have made the batch file which makes a zip file of the folder as
monday_log_08172008.zipbut don't know how to make it as the folder name or the file names as i shown above but i don't know how to make it perfect is there any idea.
Please note that folder name or file name gets changed everyday likemonday_log_08172008_19.log
monday_log_08172008_440.logso we daily need to rename it and make it a zip file of it.
your kind help is highly appriciated.

i am not having the folder calls
folder name:- monday_log_08172008_4
its just a folder having a date name
as c:\08192008K2™
