Specs: Windows 2000
I need to write a batch script on windows 2000 server. This script should go into a specific folder(A) and inside there will be multiple folders (a1,a2..). I need to go into each folder rename a file with foldername_filename( a1_test.txt) and unzip all the files inside the folder. This process should repeat for all folders a1,a2...

What I do when I code is break down each task and code it individually...then I take all the parts and put them together into one script...this way I am not overwhelmed by the idea that I have to code everything in one shot. Once I have all the parts, I can then think about fusing them together...if at all.

You can email me at, I have to run off to work now. I can help build the script unless someone else volunteers.

- all the best
