OK, does anyone know how to remove the "Press any key to continue" when making a batch file. Here's the situation that I'm in. My roommates have somehow found a way pass my password to get onto my user (their dumb so i don't know how, and yes their is proof). Ha. it's not like i have anything bad, its just that their reading my aims...So i decided to make a .bat to scare then. I have already typed it all out just that theirs, press anykey to continue. Is their a way to get the to go away and have the next line come up in like 5 seconds of them reading it? (like another option of "Pause")

Richard,
replace 'pause' by 'ping -n 5 127.0.0.1 > NUL'
That will make it wait for 5 seconds.
If you want to wait for 10 seconds,
'ping -n 10 127.0.0.1 > NUL'
... and so on.

They can't be too dumb if they figured out your password.

A proper solution would be to change your password and not let them use your computer and if need be, encrypt your files and/or set proper file permissions.
