reading all fields of a var delimited by

Specs: win2k3
Hi There

i have a ";" delimited text loaded to a variable (%var%) like this:

var = file1.csv;file2.csv;file3.csv;file4.csv;file5.csv;file..

i want to be able to go through all files and "cat" them into a bigfile.csv.

set /a var=%var:;=+%
copy %var% bigfile.csv

That looks cool coding, but you are taking a shortcut here Nbrane, the threadstarter does not say he wants to have content of var*.csv, he wants content of all files mentioned in %var%

... you are assuming something here. (Although I like the code, pretty slik)

Rom: parameter setting is like this:

set var=file1.csv;file2.csv;file3.csv;file4.csv;file5.csv;file..

- preceded with SET (it works in *nix without SET, but not in DOS)
- always have characters surrounding the =, no whitespaces
