Question on Count of MB

Specs: Windows 7, 1024
why dont this count file in the subdir?

for /f "tokens=1-5" %%a in (' dir /a/s/-c C:\$Recycle.Bin\*.*') do if "%%d"=="bytes" if not "%%e"=="free" set temp=%%c

what does the tokens=1-5 mean mainly the 1-5?

1. It will get bytes not MB.

2. It should count all of the files in the subdirs(on xp english anyway).

3. 1-5 is the same as 1,2,3,4,5, it tells the for loop to populate five variables with the values split on the delimiter(default delimiters in this case).

4. You shouldn't use a variable named "temp" it is a system variable.
