I am running an alarm system in my house off of an old pentium 1 computer. The alarm system runs through qbasic in windows 98. I have the computer hooked up to the network which runs out to a cable internet connection. I need to find a way where I can send a text message to my cell phone when the alarm is triggered. The text messaging work as an email address or through AOL Instant Messanger. Is there anyway I can get qbasic to communicate with my phone?
