i am having a config file and defines list of ports,what i want is i want to note the request time for any port defined in config file.

More information needed. What kind of ports are you talking about: COM Ports, Hardware Ports, USB Ports or IP Ports.

Whichever type of port it is you are going to need some specialised software to do it.
