Ok this may sound kind of dumb but i was wondering if there was anyone out there who'd like to write a small program for me. I came across it like a year ago but i can't find it. Once the person runs it, their text, whether it's in notepad, AIM, ICQ, ect. says "I Luv You" over and over no matter what keys they press. They stop the program by typing a certain combination of keys like "vprp" or something or by closing it through the task manager. If anyone could help me by emulating that program except with the phrase "Pierre!" instead of "I Luv You" i'd be very much oblidged :) It may sound stupid but hey it happens. Reply with an AIM name and I'll contact to as soon as possible. Thanks.

"...their text..."

What text? Where is it stored? Where is it displayed? When does it need to run?

"...Reply with an AIM name..."

Guess this project excludes me... as I do not have AIM.

"..their text.." as in anything they type.
Say they double-click the icon for the program. It may appear as if nothing happened but when they go to talk someone on AIM(or any other messenger service), they may press the keys on their keyboard to say "Hey what's up man?" but what is entered in the box they typed into is "I Luv You I Luv Yo". You understand the concept now?

With all due respect, if you want to write annoying little programms like that, with the only purpose to piss other people off, than code them yourself!

I can only speak for myself when i say i wont waste a single minute of my time on kiddie-cracks who take pleasure in creating problems for other people. This forum's purpose is to help people with problems concerning problem-solving, NOT problem-creation. I for one wont waste another minute on your post.

That's awfully rude. This isn't for a "kiddy-crack" as you believe. It's for simple enjoyment, part of an inside joke. And I would program it myself but I am a beginner and severly limited by my teacher and the snail pace of the class. I am merely making use of my resources to help me get this program. Sure, there's plenty of other resources out there, but I wouldn't even know where to begin to look...I barely know what a function is. If you don't want to help I repect that, but there's no need to tell me how annoying and dumb I am. Well if there's any help still out there about my "kiddie-crack", I'd be very much oblidged(obliged?) if anyone could supply it. Thx.

P.S.- I thought making a 'cute' little program like this would be fun for some people :)

Look, i never said anything about you being stupied. I gladly help anyone, if i can, if they have a problem with something where i see a purpose other than annoying people.

I dont know you and i dont know what you would use that for. Maybe it is an inside joke as you put it but i am not on the inside. Therefore i cannot draw any conclusion about where something like that would end up.

Some people might think now that im overreacting and that this is only a small funny program. Fine by me if they do. But next time someone asks for a funny little program that formats C on startup...in fact im sure it was asked before. So for me its a matter of principal.

So im sorry. If you ever have a problem concerning your computer class that i can help with rest assured i will (for instance if you need to know how a function is coded). But i wont help with something like that. Hope you can understand.

hello Senor,

you will need a loop or two and know windows API programming, stuff like VC++ and MFC. you will probaly wish to register the program as a service so that it does not have a window.

So in this case:
do { the functions }
while keyword is not "vprp"

i do not have in depth knowledge about winAPI programming
(although i have programmed in visual basic).
you could do some online research yourself.
