PDF READER in Visual Basic .NET

i have created a simple pdf reader it works but when i click a pdf file it just calls my program and it doesnt open the pdf file..

Did your pdf reader program analyze the startup parameters?
Windows often calls programs like this:
your_pdf_reader %1

were %1 is the filename to be opened.
Your program has to analyze, whether there is a given parameter during startup and has to take action, in this case open the given file.
