HOW DO I password protect pages using HTML???? I JUST NEED A SIMPLE CODE THAT I CAN CHANGE USERNAME AND PASSWORD

you can't.

You have to use a programming language like Java or ASP or CGI.

You could add javascript on your body onload event that checks for authentication and redirects if authentication cookie not present, I suppose.
