Is it possible to open several CMD windows via a script (batch or VBS) in specified positions on the screen? For instance, a script that can open four CMD windows stacked neatly on in a vertical row rather than in the normal Windows cascading fashion. I know I can change the CMD window properties via the GUI, but that only changes the settings for that one window.

My goal is to open several console windows that ping different devices on a network.

It's possible with VBScript and WMI, yes.
