I have a laptop that was recently "wiped" with Drive scrubber. How do I start with a fresh system? Anything would help me here. What I am getting is a black screen that says:"No boot sector on hard disk- No bootable devices--strike F1 to retry boot, F2 for setup utility". PLEASE HELP!!!!!

If you completly wipped your hard drive with drive scrubber then all the information is gone - gone for good. The MBR, all your partition info - gone.

Your gonna have to do a clean install of XP again. Boot your xp disk and start the installation process.

Good luck.
