Need to move date from Rows to One Row

September 30, 2010 at 12:20:44
Specs: Windows XP
I need to take data from multiple rows and move it to one row. For example, I have

Name Title Town
Mickey Mouse Shop Steward Canterbury
Donald Duck Union Rep Concord
Minnie Mouse President Epsom

I need it to look like this:

Mickey Mouse Shop Steward Canterbuy Donald Duck Union Rep Concord Minnie Mouse etc
all in one row but each would be it's own column. Like Mickey is a column and Mouse is a column but Shop Steward is one column ...any help would be most appreciated! h

do you need to do it programatically? or just randomly.

An excellent text editor is out there called "ultraedit" .. download it and you can manipulate text in any way you want.

open up the file and hit Ctrl + R, in the find string, write

^p

and replace it with nothing. it will replace all the return keys to nothing and you ll get them in straight line.

How will you identify a column?
