OS: c++
CPU/Ram: 2
Product: c++
Comment:

Write a C++ program that will calculate monthly paychecks for employees at a department store. A text file contains the input data for the employees. The name of the input file is P3_data.txt; each line in the file contains the following information for one employee:
First name, last name, years of service, base salary, monthly sales
Data items are separated by blanks.
Notes:
1. Remember to review the grading algorithm; make sure that your output has a heading and is labeled.
2. The output for each employee should contain first and last name, labeled echo of the input data, the amount of the paycheck along with an itemized explanation of the amount.
3. Process employees until the end of the file. Your program should run for a file of any size.
4. Your solution should utilize functions. For full credit, you must have at least three functions.
5. Do not use global variables. Pass parameters.
6. Write the output to the screen
7. Include a count of the number of employees.
8. Include the total monthly payroll amount.
9. The sample output for P3A_data..txt would not receive full credit: no heading, no programmer name.
10. Print an error message if the data file is not available.

You need to do you own homework. If you don't know how to do it, tell your instructor and drop out of the class.

Apparently, he can't. Yesterday was the last day to drop classes. Looks like someone's gonna fail a 100-level course.

I think dropping out would be the least painful option. Anyone who thinks his OS is C++ and thinks his CPU/RAM is 2 is really up against it.

Stick with it and don't quit the class. Ignore the hecklers.

In college my instructor made a big issue out of my forgetting how to format a floppy. It was my first class and I had owned a computer for less than a week.

The next week I worked my way into the
Schools main frame and downloaded a full version of Lotus 123 and Quatro pro for dos.

I also managed to to get 90 percent of Visual Basic for dos before I got busted.

I just looked at him and inquired... Isn't this how to format a floppy?

Aced the class....and got the last 10 percent.

Oh! and if asked at the time,I would have said my OS was Word Perfect. LOL!

So read the book. Work through the lessons and hope c+++ does not go by the way of fortran. :-)
