n00b question for VB

CPU/Ram: is it really needed?

hehe, this feels like such a n00b question so go easy on me :) I have VB 5.0 and it says i can only compile things to .exe if i make an ActiveX control thingo, but what exactly is an ActiveX control file? and is there a way to make .vbp files .exe's?

Probably you have VB Component Creation Edition.

An ActiveX is a COM component.

VB 5 can make exe files.
