hI IM TRYING TO RUN MYSQL ....I GOT APACHE STARTED BUT I KEEP GETTIN THIS ERROR ON MYSQL
'CANT CONNECT TO MYSQL SERVER ON 'LOCALHOST' 10061

WHAT SHOULD I DO TO GET IT TO WORK. IVE TRIED UNINSTALLING IT AND INSTALLING IT STILL NOTHING!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP NEED IT TO WORK BY NEXT WEEK

Did you actually install mysql? and if so, are sure you have it running? Type 'Net Start' in the command prompt and look for MySql. Depending on how you have mysql set up, you might be able to type 'net start mysql' to get it running again.

ok i cant get it to net start either.i keep getting an error. when i try instal it it also gives me an error. my apache works fine and so does php. just mysql has this problem.

ok i managed to install it but i stil get that error 10061 i just cant open up mysql

When you are running mysql... what command are you typing?

try typing...

mysqld

In another window type

mysql

and see if that helps.
