I'm having problems in trying to put a calendar control in VB. XP closes VB6 as soon as I start to draw the calendar on the form. I'm using WinXP Pro and Visual Studio 6 Enterprise Edition. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Leisen,

Sometimes the calendar control mscal.ocx version 8.0.0.4115 doesn't function correctly on Windows 98 and Windows XP platforms. A newer version of the mscal.ocx version 10.0.0.2601 calendar control distributed with Access 2000 sometimes resolves this problem. Also, you can download it from www.Microsoft.com.

When you download it you should do a backup of the old mscal.ocx and save the new in c:/windows/system32.

I had problems in trying to put a calendar control in VB 6.0 too. I was sure that it was because of a Windows XP installation bug
After reading your advise I replaced mscal.ocx in windows32 and all my problems finished!!!.
