How to make a MS-DOS Program Bootable?

i.e. I would like to boot through a specific *.exe file created with Turbo C++

If the program was bootable on it's own it wouldn't be a ms-dos executable(ie reliant on the os).

If you want your program to start automatically on loading ms-dos run it from autoexec.bat(the last line would probably be best).
