So i'm very sure this is really easy to do but i just can't figure out how. I'm pretty much just looking at playing a video game and capturing the number of times that i press a certain key while im playing the game.

one example would be playing Counter-Strike and I want to know how many times that I left-clicked when im done playing.

I would be able to figure out any kind of OOP stuff (click this button to make a window pop-up that shows the number) but I don't know the code or way to do it in any language. I'd say this would be very easy to do in c++ which im a little familiar with but if anyone could show me the code to do it in any of the language listed above i could figure it out or at least ask more questions if i needed to lol.

one more thing to not would be that this obviously has to be running and take info WHILE i am playing a full-screen game that is occupying all of my input. Thanks!

I haven't taken a close look, but at first glance, the DirectX SDK documentation should have an example that does what you want. Look at the DirectInput/Keyboard one.
