You can use a floppy locker to do so! It is a hardware with a key to lock it!

unless you have a MAC, thats impossible. the floppy drive mechanism is completely mechanical, the computer has nothing to do with it. unless you have a mac, whose floppy drive is usually motorized and controlled by the computer

the macintosh doesn't lock its floppies by software, just ejects them (whereas on the PC you need to press a button to get the floppy out of the drive, in the macintosh you eject it via a system menu)
as far as i know, no computer can lock the floppy by software (unless someone invents som new type of floppy drive that can do so, but that seem unlikey as the floppy seems to be on its way out)
