Hiya folks! Here's my problem:
I'm editing a batch file that runs a process on a computer in a closed system. No one should be able to interfere with the process, so I'm trying to find a way to lock the keyboard and mouse while the process runs. The system runs Windows 2000 Professional. I'm hoping this can be done in batch or calling a VB script (I've seen references online about creating/changing registry entries as well as using the RUNDLL32.EXE, but I've been able to get neither of those to work). The best solution would lock the keyboard and mouse, run the process, and then wait for a particular key combination when the process has finished (to clarify - it's a remote system the batch file is running on, and I start it via a pcAnywhere session; I'm hoping this will lock only the local mouse and keyboard, and let me still do things from my session. I've found that the pcAnywhere option for locking the keyboard and mouse doesn't always work properly on our systems).
