I've written all the "Hello World" type applets and they all run fine on the local machine just fine. Now I move all of the files - html, java and class - to a Linux box and try to get them to load from the Apache web server. No go. I get an error message on the remote browser stating that it can't find the class.

The web server is RedHat 8 / Apache
The client is Win2K using IE

If this is a classpath problem - where do I set it? On the server? In the httpd.conf file?

Any help for this rookie would be appreciated. Thanks.
