I have a java app that creates an excel sheet. The excel sheet is name Ex. test.xls but say asthe java program runs and it creates test.xls say i wanted test + current date.xls can i do this? Meaning can i have the name changed so that it represents the current day your running the program?

java.util.Calendar's getInstance method returns a Calendar object whose calendar fields have been initialized with the current date and time:

Calendar rightNow = Calendar.getInstance();
