i have numbers sequence such as:xxxxyyxxxxyxxxyxyxxxxyxxyxxxyyx this is the sequence where x and y could be any numbers how can we predict or find next one..this one was given to me by my teacher when i used to live in japan 8 years and i still banging my head..thank you all

I don't think you are writing the question correctly, If X and Y can be any number then we need to know if the numbers are static or dynamic. If they are dynamic then it is impossible, Can you write the quest as the teacher did word for word?
