Command.com was for winMe and previous. Now windows uses cmd, but microsoft has not updated Iexpress??
The solution I found it to instert "Cmd /c" in front of the batch file name for the install program file or the Post install command. Also make sure you check store files using Long File.... in the Options page.
iexpress is an Install builder. It bundles files into and exe file for self extraction and running for program distribution, like email or web download. You can have it run an exe, bat or invoke install for inf files. The problem is that even thought it is included in XP, Vista and W7 it uses command.com to run BAT files, Fine for installing on ME and before but CMD is need for later. I do not need help on this as I found a work around. If you do not follow this.. do not worry about it
