Icons on bookmark sites

I would like to know how can I make icons appear next to my bookmark sites when I click on them. Some auto displays but others don't. My internet site does NOT and I would like to be able to do that.

You need a file in the root folder of your web site called favicon.ico which will be the icon you want.
That file is automatically downloaded when anyone accesses your website. If you have access to the web site error logs you will see favicon.ico file not found for every visitor.
