I am making an internet browser for my school and i need help here..
I ask for three things:
I want to know how to make a list box display the list of connected users
to a server ip (list users on connected server)
(auto update if possible)
I also need to know how to use a progressbar or preformance counter as a bandwidth meter or monitor.
THIS IS IMPORTANT.
I AM IN NEED OF THESE THINGS!

Have you been able to load HTML pages directly into your VB.NET app yet?

After that, you would need to decide what kind of database (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) you want to build and what server-side scripting language (PHP, ASP, etc.) you want to handle the queries. I guess whatever is available on the school's server.

Do you want the individual browsers to see all users logged in, and see bandwidth progress, or just you with a host application to monitor them silently?

If a host application is what you want, then you could develop it, install it on the server, and allow it to communicate with each browser, sending and receiving messages to individual sockets.

This way, you could track and monitor the activity of anyone you want - if that is what you want.
