Hello, I need help on the following: can anyone tell me where can I find a small HTML program that will load all animated GIFs from a specific folder in my hard disk and show them all arranged in rows and columns?

Thanks in advance!

Andrés

I'm not sure what you mean by "HTML program", because programs aren't written in HTML. But there are HTML generating programs that will do what you want...I personally use ACDsee, which comes with windows xp or you can get it separately. It has a nice HTML photo album generating feature. You can probably find other free ones. However, when you add or delete a gif to that folder, you will have to recreate the photo album.

I wrote a perl program a few months ago to dynamically create photo albums from files in a directory, but it would need a little adjusting to work for gif's on a windows hard drive. Nevertheless, if you want it you're welcome to it - there are other free ones available on the web as well. You can see it in action at www.imageworksaz.com - web album - then find an album you want to see.

If you're looking for something a little more simple, check http://download.com.com/3120-20-0.html?qt=html+photo+album+generator&tg=dl-2001

They have lots of options. Good luck,
SN

Thanks SN!, I´m going to check your URLs :). And to Larouche, well, I don´t know HTML nor CGI or ASP programming, that´s why I asked here ;)
