First of all, I don't know if this is the right forum to post this in, if not, sorry.

Now on to my question, I was just wondering if there is a way to exempt a certain file from the rules in an .htaccess file, for instance, directory "misc" has an .htaccess file wich requires a user/pass to be able to view anything in the file, is there a way to exempt "misc/test.txt" from the htaccess rules, making any user able to view it?

If thats any part understandable, help would be appreciated ;-) Thanks a bunch.
