I want to mscomm control in vb.net but it is not available in vb.net. can any boddy tell me how to do it.

if you have it installed on your computer, you can add it to the toolbox by selecting the com components tab when you right-click and choose add/remove items in a toolbar frame.
hope this helps

Secrets,
You missed my point.I meant to say, If you have mscomm.ocx on your system, you can use it in .net.
I have visual studio 6 installed as well as .net. i can use (and actually do use) the mscomcontrol in a C# service I am working on.
If you already knew this, then I guess your question should have been something like: can someone give me mscomm.ocx, and the answer would be yes, since it is something that is redistributed with vb6 apps, you should be able to obtain it from someone.
PS...the name's Chi not Chai
